Built-in Tracking Function

Built-in AI tracking module, enabling smart subject tracking and gesture control function without the need for an app or external accessories. Before using the AI tracking function, please turn on the AI Power status(AI indicator turns red) through the gimbal touchscreen or pressing the F1 button three times.

Four gesture controls:
"Spread Palm" - Take a picture or start/stop video recording, AI indicator flashes 3 times
"Thumbs Opposite Direction" - Exit smart tracking, AI indicator turns red
"OK Gesture" - Start smart tracking, AI indicator turns green; Stop smart tracking, AI indicator turns red
"Double L-shaped Gesture" - Customize your composition
After you start composing a picture using the double L-shaped gesture, the indicator light will flash green. When you move to the desired position, raise the gesture again to complete the composition and the indicator will turn solid green. This function is typically used when you want to take a shot centered on the person, but also want to introduce the scenery or scene next to it.

How to Control Camera or Smartphone

While connecting the gimbal and cameras with cable(standard accessories for SONY, CANON, NIKON, Panasonic, etc.) or Bluetooth, users can control picture-taking/recording with shutter button and set aperture, shutter, ISO and other camera parameters (see Camera Compatible List for more details).
After connecting the gimbal to the Feiyu ON App via Bluetooth, the gimbal can directly control Feiyu ON for shooting (If the shutter of original camera and third party camera app can be controlled by volume button, SCORP-Mini 2 can also control it).

Auto Tune Motor Power

Auto Tune operation:
Enter the motor power setting through the touchscreen or Feiyu SCORP/Feiyu ON App, select Auto Tune, and then place the gimbal on the table until the display prompts that calibration is complete. The gimbal will automatically adjust the motor power based on the device you have installed.
*It's a normal phenomenon that gimbal will vibrate slightly while Auto Tune to weigh the installed device. When using a new camera and lens combination or device, it is recommended to Auto Tune the motor power after installing the device and turning on the gimbal.

Feiyu SCORP Mini 2

Feiyu SCORP Mini 2 had the best price/performance ratio.
It gave me a very smooth and total control of the 3 axes. The unit I got had a longer charging time (greater than 1.5 hours. I contacted their customer support and they verified this, and then sent me a replacement unit immediately. Best product with reasonable price and best customer support!

Compact, lightweight, and easy to use.
Easy to operate at hand.
I am glad I bought it.

BIG IMPROVEMENT

So, I had originally owned a Scorp Mini.
I will say that although it worked very well with my iPhone 14 Pro and Smallrig Cage.
The Control Screen Was Absolutely Horrible.
You would have to touch it multiple times to get it to go to the next screen or to use any functions. It was very frustrating and was most definitely the weak link to an otherwise great gimbal.
I WAS PLEASANTLY SURPRISED WHEN I RECEIVED MY SCORP MINI 2 AND FEIYU
HAS REPLACED THE SCREEN WITH A MUCH, MUCH IMPROVED VERSION.
Navigating the screen is instant and very responsive. GREAT JOB FEIYUTECH.
I will update my review as I use this great new tool. Look forward to years of film making with this Greatly Improved Tool.

Yes, of course I got it, everything is fine. The tax issue with DHL caught me by surprise, but I'll keep it in mind for another time. I haven't tested the product yet, but it looks great.

Scorp Mini 2 - Almost perfect!

Exceptional operation! Unretochable! My only complaint is not having a good solution to attach an external wireless microphone receiver when I use my smartphone. Great Product!

Really great gimbal

I have used plenty of gimbals in the past, some considerably bigger and more expensive than this , and for the most part they have been a bit of a faff and have ended up not being used much. I am definitely at the amateur end of videography so perhaps that why. However I got in great with this . It’s intuitive to set up, not too big and bulky and I love using the FPV mode that on here . Overall, this is a great gimbal.

So many good reviews, so many people dug it, and they've got a decent rep in the game. I loved the design, I loved the ergonomics, I loved the weight and form factor - I REALLY wanted to like this gimbal, but I could never get it to work properly. Got it balanced fine, but once turned on, the PF mode would never follow, only pan. It would NEVER stay connected to the app no matter what device (tried on iOS and on Android devices). It finally connected just long enough to start an update that froze in the middle as it dropped connection again. Finally got it connected to complete the update, but then would never connect again so couldn't fine tune it or use the app at all. Went back and forth with the team a bit, and they did all they could to help and even offered a good discount on a new gimbal, so I do appreciate their customer service a lot, just could not get the bugger to do what it was supposed to do. Returned this one and got from another brand and it's working perfectly for my needs. And to FeiyuTech's credit, they did inform me that the engineer checked it out and it was a faulty gimbal, so my frustrations weren't to naught. I'm sure a working version would be a great buy, especially given the reviews for the gimbal and FeiyuTech's reputation in the gimbal space, but I was soured and needed one that worked for a gig and didn't have one in time due to this process, so had to rent one in the period between trying to get this one to work and the one I ordered from a different manufacturer to arrive. I do think they'd benefit greatly from a new app written from the ground up. Maybe will try again in the future.

The camera connection with the remote was loose and while filming it, it dropped and now the gimbal cannot stabilize at all.

At last some one has invented the right combination being able to control the camera head from a remote and able to place the camera in some amazing places and be able to monitor on the remote the right time to start recording and stop again. Best yet. I recommend this pocket 3 action camera as the perfect action camera. Its strong and well made. I am so happy now after all the other action cameras I have used. Best Wishes FeiyuTech
