Gimbal Balancing | Center of Gravity | Position Mark Memory Slider | Easier Camera Installation | SCORP Series Gimbal
What is the position mark slider?
The center of gravity position mark slider, also known as the memory slider, refers to a small slider with a red dot on each axis arm of the gimbal, which is used to mark the specific position of the arm.
This unique movable component appears on the Scorp-C, Scorp and Scorp Pro gimbal and is one of the essential features of the Scorp Series camera gimbal stabilizer (please note that the Scorp Mini does not have the slider).
Why do I need to use this slider?
Proper gimbal balancing is a very important part of using a gimbal to capture the desired shots. When using the same camera lens combination, the position mark slider can help you balance the gimbal better and faster.
All you need to do is to install the camera on the gimbal, move the axis arm directly to the position marked by the red dot in the last use, and you can easily complete the gimbal balance and start shooting quickly at any time.
This simple but effective design makes it easier to rebalance the gimbal and get smooth, stable footage.
How to use the position mark slider?
First, install the camera on the gimbal, and balance the gimbal properly in the order of the slide arm, cross arm and vertical arm.
Then, after balancing, move the red dot on the slider of axis arm to the corresponding marked position.
And the next time you use the same camera combination, you can directly adjust the axis arm to the position marked by the red dot, no need to balance the gimbal again.
