How to Control Camera
WIFI control: Connecting camera Wifi via Feiyu ON App, it can control camera in the function of photography/video recording/time-lapse after the connection succeeded. Auto -connecting: After successful connection at first time, gimbal will reconnect to camera automatically when restart camera&gimbal. The green light flashes twice every five seconds, connection succeeded. indicator light description: Disconnect Wifi: On power-on status, press&hold trigger button+shutter button , and then turn the slider button down, red light flashing twice means disconnect the WIFI.
Working Modes
Pan mode: The roll and tilt direction are fixed, and the camera moves according to the left-right movements of user's hand.[Default mode when power on&reset] Follow mode: The roll direction is fixed, and camera moves according to the left-right movements, up-down movements of user's hand.(double tap function button) All follow mode: All three axis of gimbal follows the movements of user's hand.(triple tap function button) Lock mode: The orientation of the camera is fixed, whatever the movements of hand(single tap function button)

There are 2 extended ports in handle 1/4inch thread hole at the bottom of handle to mount Tripod or other accessories. Micro USB port on the left side of handle for charging gimbal.

DURABLE AND WILL RUN CONTINUOUSLY FOR EIGHT HOURS ON EXTERNAL POWER
I needed to stabilize a GoPro Hero 7 Black in a 5 hour Inka Trail Hike to Machu Pichu (search youtube to see results) for a Hyperlapse at 15X. The Feiyu was strapped to a go pro type chest mount and the Gopro was on the Feiyu. The gimbal worked great using the locked mode for 5 hours until the external battery pack died.The combined GoPro Hypersmooth and the Feiyu keeping the horizon level made the results great!

It is a very very good build product, it withheld surprisingly well a drop from a motorcycle going over 160 on a track,screw for mounting gimbal on gopro accessories fell off causing the gimbal fly.Gimbal still working! Awsome!!!

Great for vlogging and selfie vids
I've been really impressed with FeiyuTech's GoPro gimbals and this one is as steady and reliable as the others I've used. I had problems with the larger camera gimbal but not these smaller action-cam-aimed versions. This one is rock solid, does not lose the horizon level and is one of those products that just works. It's extremely simple to use and the battery lasts for several hours.It's pretty cool that the stick can extend out without you having to give up control, as the controls are on the hand grip. There must be a coiled cable or folded-over ribbon cable inside that telescopic pole for this to work that way, and I like that.It comes with a little plastic tripod so that you can set your rig down without having to remove the camera. It's also not a bad price.

Just got it today and was so excited to try it out.I'm a wedding videographer and always love buying new gadgets. I buy this mainly compare to my Osmo Pocket because it's picture quality is not as good and gimbal movement is not always as I wanted. Since I already have a GoPro, I think I should use it on it's full potential, but it's lacking a gimbal, that's why I bought this one, I already have a Vimble C that's for my cellphone that works great, which I'm quite familiar with FeiYu gimbals, I also have a couple other DSLR and mirrorless gimbals by them as well.This one surpassed my expectation. It feels solid and works well. It's a gimbal so nothing really much to talk about but one thing I love the feature on this thing right out of the box was that the trigger was actually programmed to be a tilt and follow mode instead of locking mode on my other gimbal, which is really come in handy when you're in a tilt lock mode and you want to slightly follow your tilt and back to tilt lock, it works well, that way you don't really need the joystick, and your wrist is the best joystick since I find that I can't get my angle right with joystick with most or all of my gimbals.It also comes with a handy pouch which can store your gimbal along with the GoPro, as well as a mini tripod and cable, and a zipped compartment to store extra batteries, so that's all you need to haul around. So far so good.Hope this helps you fellow video enthusiasts.

But with some playing anybody can make some nice shots. Im not gonna like the fact that this gimble lets you extend it makes it even better in my book as well the little tripod that is included is a plus. Plus the app works great and has not failed me so ill definitely be buying more feiyutech products.
1. What type of battery does the Vimble 2A use? What is the battery life?
It uses a built-in rechargeable battery, the capacity is 1300mAH, the voltage is 7.4V~8.4V. The theoretical battery time is about 10 hours(well-balanced status). It supports charging the battery directly from the USB port on the gimbal handle, and supports using the gimbal while charging.
2. How long does it need to fully charge the battery?
It may take ≥2h, and the 5V/2A charging adapter is recommended. (equipped by users, fast charging is not allowed). Charging status: indicator keeps solid red Fully charged status: indicator turns green
3. Why does the gimbal automatically power off after a few minutes of use?
1) Low battery. If the red light flash three times at a time, that means the gimbal is in low battery. 2) Protecting mode.
-When the handle is not being hold but completely free, the gimbal will shutdown to protect itself.
-The gimbal is not balanced and the motors get overheat.
-Make sure to unlock all axis.
4. The gimbal will not come back from selfie mode.
Firstly, keep the gimbal vertical. Secondly, double tap the trigger button to go back to normal position.
5. When double press the trigger button, it will not go back to normal position completely, or go back very slowly.
Initialize the gimbal and decrease the dead zone of the pan axis.
6. How to control the camera using gimbal buttons?
Single press the shutter button to take a photo or start/stop recording video (when the GoPro is in video mode).
Press and hold the shutter button for 3 seconds to switch between photo and video mode.
7. How to update the firmware for Vimble 2A?
The Vimble 2A can be updated via Feiyu ON APP, there are gimbal firmware, keypad board firmware and
Bluetooth firmware that can be updated. After successfully updating, you need to hold the power button for around 10 seconds to boot it up.
8. How to clean up the WiFi settings on the gimbal?
When the gimbal is on, press and hold the trigger button and the shutter button, then push down the roll
control stick (the one on the right side).
Note: After cleaning up the WiFi settings, the connection status in the APP will disappear.
You can also see the indicator will flash red light for two times every moment.
If there are no signs from the APP and indicator, please try cleaning again.
9. How to deal with vibration issue?
1) Make sure to tighten up the camera with the adapter. 2) Make sure the gimbal stays still wen turning it on. 3) Adjust the motor strength to proper values.
10. The gimbal vibrates with buzz and does not work properly, how to solve this problem?
1) Make sure to unlock all axis and properly balance the gimbal before powering on. 2) Adjust the motor strength with the Feiyu ON application.
11. How to deal with problems like not being horizontal or drifting slowly by itself, etc.
Initialize the gimbal:
1) Press the power/function button five times quickly to enter initialization mode.
2) Lie down the gimbal on a flat surface and keep it still.
3) Wait for the indicator to turn into flashing blue light from solid blue.
4) Single press the function button to finish the initialization.
12. After restarting the gimbal, it can not connect with the camera automatically.
1) Try turning off the WiFi of the camera for 30 seconds and turn on again. 2) Clean up the WiFi connection of the gimbal and connect manually.
