What are the control functions of the knob?
The multi-function knob is a highlight and key feature of the SCORP series gimbals (Scorp Mini, Scorp-C, Scorp, Scorp Pro), which allows you to achieve smooth and stable footage easily.
Here are FOUR control options for this magic knob:
1. Control the movement of tilt, roll and pan axes
2. Control the electronic focus or zoom of the camera (when the gimbal supports controlling the focus or zoom function of a specific camera)
3. Control the external follow focus motor
4. Adjust gimbal or camera parameters
Do the knobs of different SCORP gimbals have different functions?
The ONLY difference is that the knobs of Scorp Mini, Scorp and Scorp Pro are electronic knobs, while the one of Scorp-C is a normal knob. This means that the knobs of the first three gimbals can customize the damping, but Scorp-C does not support knob damping settings.
*Damping refers to the ability of the knob to resist or slow down movement. It helps achieve smoother and more precise control of the gimbal and camera, reducing unwanted shake or vibration. In addition, the level of damping can be adjusted according to the user's preference to provide a better user experience and handling feel.
How to adjust the knob control options?
1. Use the knob function switching button (near the knob)
Long press the button: Switch the control options of multifunction knob in turn (the movement of three axes / electronic focus or zoom / external focus motor).
Single tap the button: Switch the control axis (Tilt/Pan/Roll) while the knob is controlling the movement of three axes.
2. Through the Feiyu SCORP APP (section[5])
Find and select “Knob settings” on the Feiyu SCORP APP homepage, and then choose the control option you want to set.
3. Directly set on the touch screen (Scorp Mini/Scorp/Scorp Pro)
Swipe up on touchscreen home, and find the “Knob settings”.
*For Scorp Pro gimbal, when turning on the synchronous switch, main knob and aux knob will control the same object.
